Student Volunteer Registration

High School Youth WRA Volunteer Program

Since 2004, the Whitpain Recreation Association (WRA) has enjoyed the benefits of working woth our older teenagers who have returned to work with our new Volunteer. We are proud to work side by side with these youths who have chosen to give back to the community. Their hours of hard work, dedication, and experience have been a tremendous asset over the years. In the past they have done this in an informal manner, so we are introducing a more formal program, which is targeted to get more teenagers to participate, simplify the sign-up process and provide the appropriate guidance.

Procedure to Volunteer

Download the Registration and Parental Permission form (if you are under 18).
Submit your registration form and permission form for placement either in person at any WRA event or mail it "WRA, P.O. Box 64, Blue Bell, Pa 19422" or call the Volunteer Hotline at (215) 689-2106 to leave your name and contact information.
We will discuss our guidelines and provide you with a mentor / contact person.

Areas of interest

Coach, assistant coach, grounds keeping/field maintenance, equipment maintenance, equipment management/inventory, equipment delivery, possible computer design work, data entry, etc. etc.
