BASEBALL/SOFTBALL - The 2008 Season

Chairman: Michael Basile

The Whitpain Recreation Association (WRA) offers organized baseball/softball programs for children. The leagues are structured to foster sharpened fundamental skills, increase knowledge of the sport and to have fun. The games are played on several township and school district fields. The WRA baseball committee and administration are diligently working to continue to improve the quality of equipment, fields and play.

This year the 11 and 12 year old intramural boys will be playing "The Fastest Game In Town".  Their games will be played on an expanded field and the rules of real baseball will be in effect. This style of competition will assure that the players will be ready for the next level of play.

  • Registrations are for all boys born on or after January 1, 1989 and on or before April 30, 2003.
  • Registrations are also for all girls born on or after May 1, 1992 and on or before April 30, 2003.

Please look for notices of  "walk-up" registrations to be held at WRA basketball games during the month of January and February.
